Worthing Seafront Walks
Worthing has a wealth of bracing walks along the Prom - head East past the fishing boats and East Beach beachhuts towards picturesque Shoreham by Sea.
With easy access to the wonderful South Downs Way - a 160km long National Trail which runs from Winchester to Eastbourne offers a challenge whilst shorter routes more suitable for families can also be accessed.
Fast, flat roads, cycle lanes, hill climbs and undulating hills around the beautiful Sussex countryside make this part of Sussex a must for keen cyclists.
Bikes can be hired from Donkey Republic on the corner of Steyne Gardens. Download the app, unlock the bike with your phone and away you go! (currently approximately £12 per day). For a selection of safe cycle paths for all abilities, see www.discoverworthing.uk
Worthing is home to both Olympic and World Champion windsurfers and kiteboarders and it is the perfect spot to learn with our wide, safe beaches and very low tides.
Stand Up Paddle Boarding is perfect for those keen to try something new but looking for a more gentle pursuit. See K66 Boardsports for hire, taster sessions and lessons conveniently located on East Beach: www.k66surfdivision.com
