GUEST INFORMATION

WIFI – Complimentary to hotel residents throughout the hotel. Open the Wi-Fi settings on your device to view the available wireless networks. Select Chatsworth Hotel WIFI, click ‘terms of use’ box and enter password: Chatsworth2022. This will give you complimentary access for seven days.

ARRIVALS – From 14.00hrs. The reception desk is open 24hrs. If you are arriving after 22.00hrs and the main door is locked, please pick up the red phone on the right-hand side of the main entrance to contact the Night Manager.

LUGGAGE ROOM – fully-secured and in close proximity to Reception, this is available for guests’ use either prior to check-in or following check-out.

PARKING - The Chatsworth Hotel has a couple of options for parking. Meter parking is available on the road outside the Hotel. The parking bays on The Steyne and across the park on Steyne Gardens have a time limit of 4 hours and their usage is chargeable between 9am and 6pm. Parking between the hours of 6pm and 9am, Sundays and Bank Holidays is free of charge. The current rate is £1.70 per hour. Please note, the pricing of these facilities is set by the local authority and may change.

In addition to the above, the closest multi-storey car park is ‘Worthing High Street Car Park’ which is located in High Street, very close to us. Hotel Parking Discount Concessions are available for the multi-storey car park from Adur & Worthing Councils and can be applied for by accessing the website adur-worthing.gov.uk/parking. The current discounted rate is £6.20. This car park is fully secured and open 24 hours a day.

DISABLED PARKING - Blue Badge holders can park in any of the meter spaces free of charge without time restriction as long as the Badge is clearly displayed on the dashboard of the car.

FIRE EVACUATION PLAN - Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the safety evacuation plan located on the back of your room door. Each room is equipped with smoke detector alarms which are audible within the room, should there be a fire or excessive smoke. In case of an emergency, the assembly area is Steyne Gardens, directly in front of the hotel.

The hotel operates a strict no-smoking policy throughout the hotel, including all bedrooms. Should guests wish to smoke, please do so outside the hotel, away from the reception area steps. If the Hotel’s fire alarm system is activated as a direct result of occupant PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES SUCH AS COOKING, SMOKING, VAPING in the room, the Hotel will charge your guest account.

KEYS – We would advise you to leave your key at Reception when your room is unoccupied. If the Reception desk is unattended, please leave your key in the box provided. Thank you.

BREAKFAST – Continental and full English Breakfast is available in the Restaurant and is served at the following times:

Monday – Saturday: 7.00am – 9.45am

Sunday & Bank Holidays: 8.00am – 10.15am

£13.50 per person charge applies to guests whose breakfast is not included in their room rate.

£ 9.00 per person for Continental Breakfast only.

Please advise in advance of your stay if you have special dietary needs and we will do our best to cater for them.

LOUNGE & BAR – Open from midday until 23.00hrs for residential guests. Guests may charge bar drinks to their room account or settle with debit/credit card at Reception.

Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits is provided for guests on a self-service basis from midday.

DEPARTURES – Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 10.30hrs, hand key to Reception and settle any outstanding accounts.

HOUSEKEEPING - Extra blankets and pillows can be found in the wardrobe in your room. If additional supplies are required, these can be collected from Reception.

LOST OR FOUND – Guests should notify Reception of any lost property. After departure any found property will be brought to Reception by Housekeeping and can, in some cases, be forwarded with postal charges met by the guest. The Chatsworth accepts no liability for any items left after departure or items damaged during your stay.

IRON & IRONING BOARD – If you require an iron and ironing board, please contact Reception.

FANS & HEATERS – We have a limited number of these items which can be requested from Reception.

TAXIS – Please contact Reception if you wish to arrange a local taxi service pick-up. Guests can also arrange taxis via a QR Code situated at Reception.

BIKE STORAGE – We are happy to store bikes free of charge and have a fully-secure area for this service.

PET-FRIENDLY – We welcome responsible pet owners. Well-behaved and trained dogs are permitted under the following conditions:

  • Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant with the exception of guide dogs/service animals. Please check with Reception regarding Breakfast arrangements, if applicable.
  • They are permitted in the lounge area on a lead.
  • Under no circumstances must your dog be left in the room or public areas unattended.
  • They must be kept on a lead at all times when in public areas of the hotel and are not permitted on bedroom furniture.
  • All bedding, bowls, food etc. must be provided by the guest.
  • Please note that your room will not be serviced whilst your pet is in situ.
